Massachusetts School Library Association 2015 Conference

School librarians from all of Massachusetts and New England gathered at University of Massachsuetts, Amherst on March 1 and 2 for the annual conference. Librarians shared their innovative uses of tools and technologies with students. Here are some highlights.

Tools for Students

Use Joomag to create magazines. Offers a range of pre-formatted options.
TouchCast is an easy-to-use video app for the iPad with editing options.
Use DoInk to create videos and add backgrounds using green screen technology.
Blogging for educators to use with students. Many built-in features for sharing and controlling access.
Download X-Ray Goggles and not only see the code behind a selected web page but make changes to the code and see the results on the website.
