Resources for our BLS Community

by Deeth Ellis on 2020-03-18T14:19:32-04:00 | 0 Comments

Over the last several days, there has been an amazing outpouring from publishers, authors, artists, museums and organizations to provide students and families, who find themselves at home, with learning and enrichment opportunities.  Educational organizations have also stepped up and are offering webinars, free content and tools to educators. Ms. Ellis and Ms. Harari will post regularly about what we find that you may enjoy as well as online learning resources teachers might use with students.

Here are the two fun in real-time opportunities for those taking care of children or younger siblings.

  1. From an art lesson with Jarrett Krosoczka to a doodle with Mo Willems, many daily opportunities for live viewings including read-alouds with your favorite author. All listed on this spreadsheet compiled by KidLit.
  2. Visit the New England Aquarium virtually and view live daily presentations.
